Hi everyone, I got an offer from Wells for the senior lead analytics consultant role (P5 band I believe). They said in India that is the highest technical/IC designation as Principal is only in US… and the salary is on par with Analytics manager. I have 10 yoe in python, sql, tableau currently earning 30 LPA. Wells offered 43 fixed and 3 variable. Firstly is that a reasonable package? I hope so. Secondly if this is the highest IC title, will the growth be stagnant? TIA

Considering an offer to go from firm (4 YOE) to become a privacy/product counsel for a tech company (non-faang). One concern for me is the potential of a recession in late 22 into 23 with the fed rate hikes. My fear is if that happens, me being on the chopping block as new in house counsel. If I stayed at the firm, I feel reasonably secure as an associate of not being laid off due to the market. How do in house counsel positions typically fare during lay off cycles? Any experiences to share?
