I'm trying to break into the clinical research field and I'm specifically looking for a CRA role or something of the like, but I am finding it extremely difficult to enter without prior experience. I have BSc Biology and MSc Neuroscience degrees, one year experience as a research assistant, and an online ICH-GCP certification

Any suggestions for how I could get seen by employers or things I should be applying for?

Hi. I have applied for a job in an academic setting for a leadership role in cancer research. Duties would have me responsible for a small team of research nurses as well as other managerial duties for the department. I have been a research nurse for 3 years now, but I have no experience applying for a salaried position or a role in leadership. What sort of salary would be appropriate to ask for? I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.

Has anyone taken the CCRP exam? Currently looking for test prep resources and there are very few. The exam book combo I found on Amazon has mixed reviews and I think the best way for me to prep is to see the questions and get comfortable with them.
