MIT study: Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca and other vaccines may not do as well covering people of Black or Asian genetic ancestry as they do for white people https://t.co/n1shnNga88…
Anyone already got vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine here, and can tell me about the side effects they had? I am scheduled for next week and a bit worried with the reported side effects
Hello! Would anyone know what AstraZeneca pays associate directors in competitive intelligence/strategy? Thanks in advance!
Thoughts on AstraZeneca and Tysons as value plays? Just got a starting position in both of them.

So.. is AstraZeneca (covishield) going to get banned in India after 10 or so countries taking pause? My mom is supposed to take it but unsure after these news of blood clots.
Hi! Anyone here work at AstraZeneca and is willing to chat and possibly refer for roles? I currently work in federal health consulting and would really love to transition to biopharma. Thanks!
Company review season is coming up. I’m a first time middle manager. So my focus is (highest to lowest priority) 1) delegation & coaching; 2) internal processes & ops (team enablement); 3) code review/feedback; and 4) ad hoc partnerships/support for my team and other teams. As an IC, I had a lot of peers, stakeholders and projects where I worked in depth, but now, my scope is broader and I worry that it’s harder to get quality 360 feedback and it’ll hurt my reviews. Any suggestions ppl have?
What training or guidance are you giving managers at your firms about managing hybrid teams? There is a lot out there on remote teams, but a lot of us are going back three days a week which means people at home and people in the room. Any tips to pass on?
Here's a question, why don't employers try to work with employees to figure out what is wrong, before they quit? Before quitting a company I've exhibited the classic signs of being withdrawn and not giving my best effort. However, no one pulled me in and tried to have a one-on-one regarding the issues.
Are there any cults related to the tech industry, or that tech titans are involved in? I have a friend and she seems to sort of be in something, but it's apparently a "tech group". Anyone leave one of these or know of them?
Tough question to ask, but who has benefitted the most from the pandemic? Eg SaaS as a category.
Hi Everyone! I’m torn between which HR certification to pursue (SHRM-SCP or SPHR). Which one would you recommend and why?
I’m a new PO. I do not have an IT background and my team is still in the early stages of agile transformation. My SM operates more in a “tech lead/sme” capacity(also heavily waterfall background) and I have limited agile coaching resources available. I am struggling with getting my team to adhere to agile processes but also feeling a little overwhelmed with trying to become the expert in my product. Any tenured product owner/managers that can offer some advice for a newbie learning the ropes?
Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
Are you or have you been the sole HR person at the company? What are the pros & cons? I haven’t been, but a recruiter reached out with an opportunity to be one. They currently use the parent company’s HR but are buying themselves out to be a stand alone firm. TIA!
If I have a solid history of work experience but don't have a college degree would FAANG companies consider me?
Any tech jobs in Hawaii?

Hey all! Have any of you here ever gone through an acquisition/merger at your company? Just curious on if/what changed and did you enjoy the change?
If I move to the Bay Area from Austin, are there any major negatives that will be really hard for me?
I am trying to get into big 4 healthcare transformation strategic consulting coming from a large EHR vendor as a strategic consultant. Looking for advice, guidance, and networking connections.
Have a potential big 4 offer from another firm in another city (waaaay higher cost of living that doesn't translate to a net raise for me necessarily) I don't want to move or take it but is there.....
Monday morning and the only thing that goes through my mind is wow I hate my job. Between the strict requirement of releasing billing time daily, high billable goal and I guess a heavy workload (and everything that comes with living through a pandemic) it’s hard to start my day excited for work. And I hate it. Makes me question why I’m doing this for a living.
What are the exit opportunities for someone in M&A with functional/PMO/overall M&A strategy knowledge?
First trip to Atlanta in a couple of weeks for a training. Staying at the Westin Peachtree. Anyone have recommendations for fun places to drink/things to do?
Would any of you choose Amazon over other FAANG or even tier 2 tech? all my friends working there hate it and seems like comp lags behind other FAANG unless you account for stock appreciation.
I've been in manual testing for 80% of my career. Despite attempts to transfer into a more code-centric role, I never got the opportunity to do so. Now that I'm in a management role, I feel like it's too late to enhance my programming skills. Suppose I want to transition into a developer role, will self-study be sufficient for passing the necessary requirements for coding jobs? Lately, I've been learning python and using what I learned by solving problems at leetcode.
Those working in consulting - would you class yourself more of a doer, thinker, or connector? Generalist vs specialist in nature? How does your nature hinder or support your role/career...

Gave notice to my existing employer about exiting the firm. They are asking if they can match the offer. Should I accept the counter offer? Currently a senior consultant for adv analytics in healthcare consulting. TC 150k Offer is 280k TC as Senior Data Scientist at Zillow.
Campus hire just started with B4 in a T2/3 city. Making 50k and feel like I’m underpaid (comfortable COL is about 70k). How do I negotiate when firm says they pay on cost of labor rather than living?
See a young (24-29 yr old) woman with group of several older (40+ yr old) men, clearly work together in a consulting or business type role (based on convo topics and attire). Thoughts/Assumptions?
