Confession: I love staying home with my husband and dog, and I kinda dread the pandemic ending. I don’t want to be forced to leave my house. I never want to go to the office again. I don’t really miss socializing with colleagues and friends. I absolutely love staying home and dread the day I’m expected to go into the office even a couple of days a week. My gf and I are having a big discussion and I would love to get your thoughts on this. It’s about how much we keep in touch and communicate when I’m on the road. She needs to hear from me everyday multiple times and if I don’t answer her texts within a few hours, she can get quite controlling (text over and over again, also on my work phone, asks what I am doing and gets upset).
