Any advice on shifting from association law to commercial real estate in FL?

I've been applying to jobs for months but every position wants at least 2yrs of experience in real estate transactions, usually way more. I'm at 1yr+ doing HOA/condo work but have had no opportunity to do real estate transactions like I expected. I recently got a GM role at a mid sized transportation company overseeing P&L ($30-35 million) for a dozen markets.

I didnt have any P&L responsibility before. Do you guys recommend doing alot of 1:1 with a mentor or taking a particular self taught course where I can brush up my skills?

My current package is 10.6 with 7.5 years of experience, got an offer of 17.8 ( 14 fixed , 3.8 variable ).Should I look for other offer ?

Is 7 lpa a good package for backend development with 1 yoe ?
