I feel I should be Senior SE in Microsoft (level 63) but when I got microsoft offer last year the HR said it is the maximum they can give. Fixed base is 28 LPA. There is an upcoming appraisal cycle in September, so I wanted to ask how much can I expect Microsoft to adjust the base salary in this appraisal cycle ( given my performance was decent) ?

Will Google speed up if I tell them I'm in the process with another FAANG? Will it look bad if I tell G I'm advancing elsewhere but don't get the offer elsewhere?

Moved to the city about 6 months ago and I’ve been disappointed in my experience. I know the pandemic is playing a factor but I didn’t expect the winter days as gloomy as they’ve been. One of the team member has applied leaves for continuous 3 days this month. Later she applied for a 15 days leave saying a medical emergency. Both the leaves were rejected from her manager saying connect with HR. though she is on leave without PM leave approval and this is not even prior notice to the team.

Basically I decided to switch because I am not happy with the project I am working on and I tried to switch project internally multiple times because my skillset is devops, but no luck.

Now I have an offer from Accenture for 11.5 LPA fixed (current CTC : 9.5 LPA), but this is my promotion year and chances are 90% with good hike but that's effective June 2023.

so I'm exercising daily, but facing this issue.

There is a lady who comes when I exercise as the roof is shared. and I feel uncomfortable. till now I have been ignoring her but still I don't feel comfortable, my rhythm will be disturbed. I try to put my back towards her.

How do I deal with this without talking to her, also for some reason I'm not able to see her face to face.
