Hi Fishes - Which is good in terms of WLB, money and job security? Standard chartered gbs or HCL Technologies ? Standard Chartered (Bangalore) and HCL (Nagpur). Also, HCL wants me to join with same CTC except nagpur is kinda near to my hometown. What could be the CTC for 11yrs in HCL Technologies? I can feel you bro/sis. ☹️

Talk to your lead/manager and tell them that your mental health is getting hampered and you need break.
LOP is the option. Talk to your Manager
So bro/sis, is it the work pressure there or something that's happening in your personal life that's not allowing you to focus on your work?
This is very personal issue. I'm not enjoying my work due to many things going on in my life. As work is something which I can't ignore because I'm getting paid for it, adds up more pressure because of its a responsibility.
Due to myself not in a good mental state, I am not putting efforts, not willing to do it .
The work load will be everywhere but my mental health is deteriorating in this corporate environment. I feel I'm not made for this job. I actually don't like the work that I do. It's very toxic and not my interest.
However jobs are same everywhere, in terms of working hours I don't see any difference in my previous organisation and PwC. They want their work, they have deadlines, you have tasks assigned be it easy or difficult and anyhow you have to do it if they are paying you.
I think you should talk to your manager regarding your mental health. A good manager must understand and allow for LOP. Your manager/ HR should be able to confirm whether you are eligible for sabbatical or not.
I'm currently working in one of big 4, I too have same feeling and thoughts ever since I joined here. It seems like all big 4 sucks when it comes to WLB.
Totally understand you author. I was going through a very tough phase myself and was somehow able to overcome it. I took a break from work although for one month only butt it really helped a lot. I suggest be open about these things and talk you your coach and RL. I am sure they will understand and you can surely take a break. On a personal note, please don’t keep things within you, try to find a person/s to whom you can share your personal problems and talk it out. Spend some time with family and friends and if possible go on some vacation to a place which you like. All these guys hinge really helped me to recover and be my normal self again. I am sure you will get over it and get excel and be happy in life.
