this is normal and employee / employer pf are part of CTC only
Why is gratuity also part of salary break up ? Is this the five years one ? Or something else ?
In most companies gratuity is part of CTC which is 4.81% of basic salary and is legally bound to be paid back only if employee serves the employer for continuous 5 years. I worked for three employers and for last two it was part of CTC but for latest one its not. Most of the good product based organisations don’t have gratuity as part of CTC.
