I only started at PwC a couple of months ago, but I started getting hunted down by Amazon. I just passed my technical interview with them and I am moving on to the loop interview. What I want to know is... does anyone have experience at both? In my head, as a Solutions Architect, Amazon (or any FAANG) is a feather in my cap. That being said, PwC has been great, and seems like a great company. Would you leave PwC for an AWS Solution Architect position?

Received a job offer. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on a concern I had about it. It's an entry level position, and I don't have much experience. The billables are 2040 a year. For billable hours in civil litigation and insurance defense, is 2040 hours for a 1st year associate on the high end in this field for a small or midsize firm? It seems like most attorneys I know have minimum requirements of around 1800. The compensation is around 80k a year.

Hello, I'm hearing product management is the space to be if you want to see a considerable bump in pay. What is the path forward to reach that role? I have experience as a project manager, scrum master, and BA and I was hoping these combined could land me a product manager role, but it seems like companies require extensive prior experience as a product manager already - so, what is the best way to get my foot into that role?

Anybody know about what an engagement manager does from day to day and would it be as exciting as implementation? Also, if there are quality exit ops from this. I was approached about a job opportunity for it.

From my perspective, it seems like they don't really get to work with configuration or do consulting. It looks like they mostly oversee the implementation life cycle.

I had an interview where the interviewer was acting extremely weird-almost as if she was trying to deter me from wanting the position. I shared about it in another bowl and many people suggested reaching out to the recruiter. After a lot of anxiety and overthinking, I reached out. I reiterated my interest and specifically said the interview was bad in my opinion. What are your thoughts?? Will I just be ghosted?

I had a job that I was so good at. I loved the work. I loved my team. I could have retired from that job. But, the manager seemed to have bipolar, toxic bullying and after a year of hanging in there, I left. I was one of 36 that bailed. Ther have been report and grievance filed over and over yet the manager remains. I let it all out in my exit interview, that was via email. I am still sad and hurt it ended up that way, I miss my crew. Why do managers like this get away with this trash?
