In my personal opinion, I have never someone change groups just by asking. They typically hire for a specific from your university and it’s all about headcount, most likely the TAS teams are all ready full.
My opinion would be to take the TAS offer and back out of the risk one. Risk absolutely blows and has a very hard time keeping people.

Yeah my university isn't too strong in regards to finance. They mainly get recruited for audit and tax.
Depends. At D, risk is in Advisory which is a separate company from Consulting.

It's not in D, but I definitely know consulting won't even look at me, i believe transaction services fall under advisory, and so does risk, or at least parts of risk
