Deloitte Hi Fishes.. Looking for some help here. I am about to put my papers and want to request reduction in notice period. I know it is difficult in KGS, Consulting atleast. Nope it doesn't work for them coz the moment you put your papers..their projects in pipeline increase and delivery gets hampered. You are the only resource who will help them. neither request an early reliving unless it's a buy out, nor extend a single hour no matter how much loss they have. Keep your ethics strong!
Almost impossible to get it reduced unless you have a strong reason (medical, marriage, etc) and even if you do then it has to be a buyout

Medical like maybe a surgery procedure but as a lie that's too much to give 😅
A family member (parent) is super unwell and needs personal care but you won't be able to give that as a reason in 2 months advance

Although you shouldn't get disheartened from at least trying, it also does depend how strong your relations are with manager and above

If female use excuse of childcare or marriage in trouble saying you need time to yourself. No documentary proof necessary and sometimes you get break on buyout. Quite a sensitive thing so no one will challenge. But remember this means bridges are burnt for ever
