Do you think women in the industry are paid lesser as compared to men.
Out of personal experience ,I can see that during compensation discussion HR person tries to convince a women candidate for a lesser package . Now this could also be the case where it is much easier to convince women to take up the job for lesser salary.
Whereas the male team member gets paid high (same YOE , same number of switch , similar prev CTC) though women are equally or more talented sometimes.

Current job MNC as sap consultant Total YOE 6. Annual salary Package 18L net annual salary package 16L (after tax deduction, PF, Insurance,)
Net salary Monthly 1.19L .

Offer i get from japan
Small company offer me 4L yen monthly after all tax and insurance deduction 3.20L yen net monthly salary in INR is 1.88L , japan living expenses per month is 1L saving 88000.

I had an agreement with HR for CTC of 9lpa (8.5 fixed/50k variable). Now, she is telling that upper management didn't approve and they can only offer a CTC of 8.5lpa as fixed ( no variable component). Should I agree to this scenario? How should I negotiate in this situation? Pls suggest.
