I received an offer for a big gaming company! I was interviewing for an admin position where the pay was flexible. Well the recruiter said they wanted to create a position for me doing the same thing but more data entry. However, the pay was a little bit lower & there’s was NO FLEXIBILITY!! Taking this would mean I would take a 5k Paycut. I know it’s not a lot, But the drive is further. Benefits are great w/bonuses. I’m not sure if I should accept? I know I can get a higher pay elsewhere.

Recruiter called me today and caught me a bit off guard. I thought he was calling to chat with me about the job description, but instead on-the-spot interviewed me. I answered fairly well, but he caught me off guard right at the end of the call... after him quizzing me on my industry knowledge, he asked me what my Salary expectations were. I am a top performer at what I do ( in tech consulting and more of a technology architect) and I am job hunting.
