There’s a vid going around that claims that Murthy and ITserve block any resolution to GC backlog for Indians because it will rob them of their pool or exploited H1b workers.

I highly doubt it, sounds like a desi conspiracy theory but even if it’s true (unlikely) what can do you do about it
Murthy, reddy , IT serve Et all hate the bill. But as someone who is in advocacy and who has been around the halls of Congress for 10 years now I can tell than they have as much influence in washington as osama bin laden. They are almost nuclear at this point because both democrats and republicans hate them and see them and their cheap ass lobbyists as nothing but toilet paper with money.
With that said / they have tried and trying to destabilize the effort to mobility and portability of their employees. That’s for a good reason, they feel threatened by it. Fact is they are a talentless bunch of know nothings who chances upon business because of the current status quo wrt immigration. Once this changes they all disappear and they know it.
Like it or not, trump is the one who can and will do it. Obama was all bark and no bite. Trump is different and unfortunately some of those decisions are effecting people who haven’t made mistakes. Let’s see how this goes.
I personally want to see a black list of employers and lawyers who won’t do business with problem whom they wanted to screw.
First of all, SA1, thank you for all that you’re doing. You give us hope. I don’t know about the rest of it that much but I seriously hope that people whose livelihood is exploiting people who are already struggling do disappear.
