Around 12LPA
Thanks for the response
You can get around 12-15 LPA.
I was in Infosys working on SIEM and SOAR with 3.6 LPA. Later I got offer from Capgemini with 6.8 LPA and I applied for resignation at 1.7 YoE. The notice period was of 3 months and so I got many interviews, failed in some and cleared some.
Slowly slowly my offered package was increasing from 3.6 to 6.8 to 7.5 to 8 to 8.5 to 910 to 15(12 fixed + 1 retirement+ 2 stocks).
I will suggest that you start giving more interviews, negotiate and definitely you can get between 12-15 lpa at 2 YoE.
The major problem was 90 days notice period which I feel has been handled out because they are ready to accept the notice period.
So now your question "How much should you ask the HR?"
It depends on how you are going to answer the below question:
How much confident you are with your skills related to role?
If your answer to above question is "I am very much confident with my skills", then this means you have good knowledge into your domain. If you give interviews then you will be selected in many companies. In this case, you can take whatever HR is okay and don't try to negotiate much because in the 3 month notice you will get many many interviews and definitely you can get your expected salary.
If your answer to above question is "I am not that much confident", then try to negotiate more with the HR to get closer to expected package. And a suggestion, you can also start preparing for future interviews. This will build confidence and knowledge to crack the next interviews.
