Any one from IBM ?
I went through the entire recruitment process and got selected for IBM ISL. Now I am being told by the HR that they are unable to release offer as there is a hiring freeze.
Can any one please tell me if its correct or just an excuse not to give me offer. If its true, when will this freeze be removed?

Have been in industry for more than 20 years right from the time of graduation I am hearing that we will not have opportunities and the party is over .but rocking persons are always rocking .and the party never ends till now
When I graduated mainframe was on peak and now cloud and gen ai ai ml but the confusion which I am facing here is I am not receiving calls as I got at 38 years and the salary is damp less to market only 12 l
I8 years back it was a good one but in 8 years inflation went up our car became old .house was not enough for a grown family and financial requirements omg now this salary seems to be less .but one thing this is enough I cud meet all my requirements but only meet as I said I am ambitious for the above . I changed my life went .I was obese . To become active I joined gym also learnt car driving. hmm but nothing rewarding tried to learn new skill mastered some concepts but no calls at this 45 age . My spouse and my mom and even my friend is saying as due to ageism you can only walk but cannot run or jump further in career .even though I motivate myself this type of behaviour from job market is discouraging .is it true ladies post 45 no ladies are working or switching
Want to get 25 llaksh any roadmap for any technology or training I know cyara have worked in testing and worked in mainframe development.and in management
We ladies should never let down health and motivation.if we are depressed or down it l after children's confidence there was a saying for ladies what is there after marriage.but it is there only after children a responsible life irreplaceable
I am planning to take a course in udemy or simplilearn and learn AWS devops and mlops so that checking whether I could get a breakthrough.hmm
Leaving this jobs also is eating my mindas my time and presence is much required for my family but ok let me first upskill

House and car with work pressure is way more wealthier than nil work pressure without house and car

It's always better to evaluate our skills and the values you can bring in the organisation.
If you are just sitting in the same role, not evolving in terms of skills then you should go for a switch or find a new project, team.
It's better to be ready for the AI/ML tech 🤔
The current and future IT market is going to be more crowded without job opportunities against like never before I think.
What is ur current CTC? I'm also feeling trapped in same company more than 3 years no hikes. With family responsibilities and work pressure not able give any interviews also..

If you are not getting the opportunity in your tech skills Mainframe.
Try to explore new role as product manager, Consultant etc and use your expertise.
Learn lastest skillset AI /ML if possible that'll be an add on.
Don't loose hope. You'll find an opportunity.

My friend was at home for ten years but suddenly she learnt devops attended interview and got onsite at new zea land now she got pr her son got college seat therein just 3 years all happened

Yeah Luck matters a lot in opportunities.
But we need to give our best shot as we can.
There shouldn't be regrets in ourselves.
I think at some point it'd be better for women to have a good wlb job role to have peaceful life.
It's true for Men also after a certain age 🤔
Government job scores high in this aspects in software only creamy layer are getting these benefits
