Hi Fishes, This is my first post, need some advice. I have 2yoe. worked on 2 DB migration projects the 1st yr & it felt my time is wasted. So I requested for web development project in Java. On the new one, I worked on WebServices w/Spring, Postman,SoapUI,BitBucket,Octopus, hosted on Azure. Now I don't get to code much & feel stuck. Want to switch to React+Java, how to prepare for interviews If I got no React exp? What ques are asked in interview to 2yoe for this role? How long will it take?

Just received an interview offer for an outpatient position at a hospital and I've interviewed and am still awaiting a decision on the inpatient position. Does that mean that I may have not been selected or that they're unaware I applied for 2 positions? Is that something I should mention or not?

I see layoffs and hiring freezes all over.

I’m curious to hear what companies are implementing freezes if anyone would like to share.

For referrals. Does it matter:

The seniority of the person referring? (IE: Is it better to get referred from a manager than an associate?)

The tenure of the person referring? (IE: is it better to get a referral from someone who has been there six years instead of six months?)

The position of the person referring my? (IE: if I applied for an analyst job with the marketing department, does it mean more if I get a referral from somebody in that department vs say a software engineer?)

I have an offer for a newly created collections strategy project manager at a mid sized credit union for $95k, 7-9% bonus, and 3 weeks PTO.

I did ask to go up to $100k, but was told my offer was already above the target range.
