Interviewed last month for a SDE 2 role. Completed all the rounds including the final discussion. Since then there has been no updates.

Emailed the hiring team after about 2 weeks of the final round. No response but on my action center a new job appeared with a Completed status and the original one still in Scheduled state.

Followed up again a week later, got a response that the hiring manager was on leave. It has been more than 2 weeks since this.

What should I expect - rejected?

Final round! Panel interview w an assignment to present some ideas on how to increase customers for 1 of 5 key audience segments.
I’m most familiar with 1 as it’s the audience I work with at current job. Not enough info/experience with other 2 segments. Remaining segments I know enough but not as confidently.

Will it look like I took the easy way out if I chose my segment? They know it’s my current audience and has been for 8 yrs. Would love to hear your thoughts!

My friend received two job offers for Account Executive roles: a Mid-Market role with Confluent and an Enterprise role with ThoughtSpot. He’s conflicted because Confluent is a more established company, ThoughtSpot is Pre-IPO. Confluent is a lucrative product to sell and has established SDR reps so there’s a good blend of inbound and outbound sales. Thoughtspot is more of a startup culture where most of the sales comes from outbound and it’s a tougher sell.
