Is it true that I will have to frequently work late at night. Is the shift timings 9 to 6 as the hr told me or it usually extends? Pwc AC PwC

If they are ready to match your pay then you should stay.

I think it will be better for my career to go to deloitte as here(though the team is really good) the project is not very good, It is an implementation project though. The person handling AMS is also leaving and I am afraid that if I choose to stay they might transfer me to AMS which is way worse.
What should I do?
I'd suggest you take the hike stay for another 3 months and then drop papers again saying you don't like the AMS team and there's nothing they can do to retain you any longer.
You'll get more than 17-18lpa if you get 12.5in your current org
I think you should move. Deloitte is a more recognised brand than Infosys world over. It will help you in your career ahead. Hope that helps.
Yeah I also think that though there's also the risk of unknown in Deloitte. I've heard the scary tales of no WLB in there though I spoke with people and it's not that bad. Mostly a few people with bad experience express their views
Which tech stack u are working n ur yoe?
12.5 fixed. I have done MBA as well
you should leave infy, better learning opportunities in Deloitte which would eventually help in your career growth

Hey, I'm at ORC, have good relations with my manager in a project that's about to go live. We might be in the same team (or maybe I'm your manager 😉). Kidding, but great to see ORC folks around.
I'm in a similar spot - the team is good, manager is chill, learning's great, but I'm leaving for the progression and pay. I see folks here who've been around for ages but are still ACONs and that scares me. This is why I'm moving if not for anything else.
Is your go live soon? Maybe theres a resource crunch and they'd like you to hang around for that.
I got an offer from D too. The comments around WLB is on my mind along with the sort of tech they might put me in, but like all things it's a leap of faith.
You could do what someone else suggested too - get the hike, and look out elsewhere after a few months.

True, its about the same for me.
I was on the fence at the start - My manager offered to negotiate, mentioned a colleague who received a bonus and took back their resignation, and the rating etc. Then the HR called and for some weird reason I found her to be rude and unsympathetic. Maybe I had expected a bit more considering the effort I've put in, but either way, something in me snapped, and flat out declined any sort of pay negotiation.
If long term AMS is what's bothering you, you can ask them if they are willing to take you out and put you in another project post go live, or hypercare. If you any module specific requests (You're in AR, and want to work on something else etc.) you could lay that out too. Since they are matching the pay, you could give these questions a thought too.
