I have currently two offers in hand-

BNY- 72 fixed - Vice President

And I am expecting an offer letter from
HSBC - Senior Associate Director where fixed would be around 78 to 80

Now the catch is
the joining date for BNY would be in 2 weeks
Whereas for HSBC it would be around 6 weeks.


So my question is how is the work culture in HSBC compared to BNY AND is it worth giving up 2 months compensation to join HSBC and how long does their background verification takes.

I have accepted EY IN Offer.
Now I am getting calls from EY GDS for interviews.

I am not sure if u should attend the interview or not at GDS.
When I shared this scenario with my EY IN HR, she said please don't attend it may create conflict and you may also get blacklisted.

EY GDS HR is like, you can attend the interview, there's no problem at all. We don't have such a policy. Please suggest what decision I should make.

I have an experience of 6 years in Production and Application Support. I have worked as middleware administrator as well for Jboss and Weblogic.
But due to the diminishing demands of the role in IT industry , I am planning to switch my career in Devops or AWS which would help me grow.
But I am not sure without any practical knowledge, will I get a job at this many years of experience in a different profile.
