Hi All. I am currently working in Oracle as QA analyst 2. I have 3.4 years of experience. Oracle has great wlb but the techstack is Robot Framework and my domain is telecom. I don’t see myself working in telecom for a longer run. I want to work with api and ui more. Recently recieved an offer for Sr QA engineer at Paytm. How’s paytm considering wlb and work culture. AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

Throughout my career, I have worked at both “traditional” and “digital” shops. My current agency would fall under traditional but also offers digital services. Our process, roles and skillsets seem way outdated but I wasn’t sure if it was just my opinion or if this is just how it works. For example, we have no CTO or tech leads. Our digital producers feel more like project managers than actual producers. Account Management is just traditional, no real digital knowledge. Feels layered and dated.
