Had a very serious query. In my current organization I was not under taxable bracket by any means so I didn't submit any investment declarations or anything. But I'll start a new job in 2 weeks where I'll be under taxable bracket. So will I get a chance to submit my investment declarations in the new company for tds calculations in the middle of the year ? I'm new to everything so would appreciate your help. TIA :)

22 years old and currently focused on using my left over income to invest and pay off my debt. I am set to pay off my college loans by next year and, when I do, I want to look into investing into real estate. Is there a way to get closer to the 58000 total contribution limits in a 401k after initial contributions up the 19500 limit? My employer match isn’t great but I’ve maxed out my contributions this year and they’ve only added an additional 1500 so I’ll be at 21k total in the account for the year. How can I get more in there to bridge that 37k gap? Or can I?

I don’t get it: Why would anyone invest, for example, in a 6% dividend yield etf with a 0.50% ER (ie EMHY) instead of a 9% dividend yield etf with a 2.5 ER (ie YYY)? Wouldn’t you still be getting better results with the expensive one?
