I’m in PwC’s M&A group (DDV). I like PwC a lot - great culture, good people, lots of perks. The M&A work is long hours, high-speed, and involves a lot of client interaction. Happy to answer specific questions below.

Pwc5 - I figured you weren’t from NYC or Chicago.
i’m at pwc ddv, i have an mba so the pay isn’t horrible, but still behind market. expect your job to be 80% pmo, with long hours and same pay as the rest of management consulting. in terms of the spot bonuses, not sure what that person is talking about. I received a retention bonus because i had an offer in hand.

Second ACN1 - if you are going to be an IT professional - which is how I interpret M&A IT - you are much better off going to ACN. You’ll be treated as a second class citizen at DDV.
Do you have offers at both?
If you’re looking for tech, it’s Accenture
I imagine Accenture is higher tier for that category but that’s just my opinion.
PwC M&A IT. Unless you are only focused on PM’ing M&A IT implementation projects.

I have been at PwC DDV - Run and take Accenture. When it comes to IT, DDV is far behind, although catching up but Accenture is the winner here. PwC hates going to market with their IT folks. ACN not so much.
