Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

If you've agreed on the number with HR on 10th june then it doesn't matter you tell them the counter now or later. They have already initiated offer process keeping in mind your discussion and agreement with them. The ball is totally in their court to accept your counter or completely reject your candidature. It could go either ways. If money is what matters then please join another organization that's giving you counter offer and let the second best candidate join them.
If you do proceed with Citi, then I hope you informed them about 90 days NP. If so, your joining g should be most probably after that only and there could be some adjustments made if you need little break between the job change. I don't think that should be a problem once you discuss clearly with relevant stakeholders.
As of now they have not released the offer letter and it's been almost 5-6 weeks post HR verbal offer confirmation.
Last tuesday I had submitted the questionnaire but till now they have not released the offer letter.
