Hi I am a female USDC SS level employee and would be on bench starting from mid September. I have received a generic email from RM stating that work from home is not allowed when on bench and have to come to office from 9am to 5pm. I am a mother of 11 months old and my family already had Covid few months back. Since my kid is very small i am not comfortable sending him to day care. Can anyone suggest how to get approval for work from home during my bench time. I am very much tensed

I no longer tell myself I want to be dead. Meds and therapy have helped. But I also seem to not care if I die or get a terminal illness or disease. Like I won’t put myself in danger but if I get a disease or illness I won’t mind either. Does anyone else feel like that? Maybe that’s one reason I don’t bother to get myself in shape.

Stupid Question- We have been thinking for IVF and trying to understand with this process, is there any difference in the health and life of the child as compared to a child born without IVF. I did ask this with our doctor and he said casually its all same. This is not to question any doctor but just to really understand what is going to be different with the kid. Career advice that I give to the people I manage- do one more thing everyday that you weren’t going to do or didn’t feel like doing- for your team or for your client. Could be notes, a follow up, a reminder, raising your hand to tackle and drive something-whatever. That little extra effort against something you didn’t “have” to do, every day, overtime will make you invaluable
