Hi , I am on bench in Altimetrik since 1 month . I got an offer from a company who wants me to join in 2 weeks. I was released from a project 1 month back and in last 1 month I was not assigned any project . My thought was if I put resignation the company would release me immediately, but to my surprise the HR is denying my early release and stating that its company policy that you need to serve entire Notice period even you are on bench .

How to convice for early release ?

I worked as a technical PM for a medium-sized adtech company in NYC in charge of 2 technical teams, and the business intelligence team.

On Thursday I was informed by the lead Product Owner and the head of HR that leadership had decided that the project management office was no longer necessary for the company and all three of us, the director and the two technical PMs, were being let go. None of us were given any notice.
