i have attended interview on Apr 16 and later BGV initiated bt in i onboard portal it's showing as BGV completed & offer not initiated . still not getting any updates from HCL side / HR side
today one of the agent came for urine sample ( drug test )

In my case, they released Offer in 10 days.
Bro due to recession, they are not releasing offer letter.
This I heard from my manager.
Why they are doing these interviews and other processes, I'm not sure!!

i had HR discussion on march 7 and they even agreed on salary. But still no updates,
I think if you have counter offer they are not gonna give that much higher, they just keep on saying waiting for approval
do u have any counter offer ? If yes most probably they will ghost. Coz they are not gonna match that much or they wont get approval. Dont know why they are wasting time
Reasons
1. If it's an urgent position or client requirements, they will match your salary and update you
2. Due to recession many projects are on hold, due to this in my team also interviews going but no one yet joined
3. Slow process due to doubtful in projects, instead of new joining retaining the existing employees
4. Might be your ctc and ectc with yoe not feasible to HR and looking for other ppl who can join for less
May be they hold the position or looking for low ctc ppl or thinking to complete bgv before discussion
Get used to it, leaving and the other formalities are even slower
It's almost a month since I completed the interview process in HCL. After a long wait I received mail from HCL that I got shortlisted 2 weeks ago and the very next day I submitted documents. They dint contact there after. I tried contacting HR but no one responded. Now they are saying that they have sent for CEO approval before releasing the offer. Is it the usual procedure in HCL? How long they usually take?
