Hi I have completed all technical and managerial rounds with Microsoft . When HR called me to inform me all rounds were positive. She told someone from hiring team will call you for documents. It's already 4 days since no one called me . No I can see that position is frozen. Did this happened with anyone? Any idea what to do? I am really upset now.

Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.

Currently scheduling “on sites” for a S&O role in CA. My referrer said they can hire as L5 or L6. Would like to land in the L6 bucket as I’ve heard 5 --> 6 is one of the more challenging promotions.

I’m looking for info on what the real difference is in responsibilities (manager vs IC, cross functional vs focused, etc) so I can focus on checking the L6 boxes during my interviews.
