What are some good practices during the sales phase of a potential project to execute before the contract is signed? Seems obvious but would love some ideas on standard operating procedures that help with seamlessly handing over a signed contract to the account team. For example, speaking to the potential client explicitly about their role in staying on schedule, reviewing scope creep consequences, etc.

Hello, I recently was reached out to by an in-house recruiter at a similar but slightly different company than the one I currently work for. The recruiter provided a base range and an OTE range. The lower end of that range is what I am currently making. The higher end of that range is almost 200k more than my current comp. The role is almost identical. I wasn’t looking to move, but that higher end range would set my family up very nicely for our goals. But I am happy at my current company. Help?

My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. Ever since I was a student I’ve always found the accounting jokes mildly humorous, and the weird “selling” personas kind of off-putting.

Would you hang out with management at your firm if you met them as a stranger? I always find it weird when you see that person who kisses partner butt, just to get a seat at an awkward dinner where the partner interrogates you about work stuff.

There are interesting people at work, but I feel like they are in the minority.
