I have offer from CBA for Senior Data Engg role. I wanted to get some insights regarding work culture, ethics, work-life balance and quality of work there. And how does the growth or hike in CBA look like. Is it that once you get in , hikes are low? Is it that kind of scenario ? Please share honest insights and reviews, that helps to take the call. And honestly STVR part of CTC is huge, would it ever get paid? How is it for u guys ?

Received an offer for non- tech CCM role and wondering if I should accept. I feel like I was lowballed and downleved despite having 6 YOE (relevant but not in tech). Not sure it will be beneficial to leave my current role for this offer to get my foot in the door.

Is it really that difficult to get hired for a federal job? I was interviewed for a GS12 job but never heard back, they still didn’t hire anyone and I didn’t get a rejection. I applied for another GS07 job, was accepted, I took it, but I believe I can do better. I have a master’s and have extra graduate research experience. I am still applying to new jobs but I was told it is impossible to move up the grade level now. Everyone is telling me to stick with the government. What are your thoughts?

I was given a promotion 6mos ago & told that the position was a lateral move & a raise would be given at my 6 month mark. Throughout my time at time at this company I’ve realized that they call people in to give their raise on the exact date of milestones (i.e: 6 mos, 1yr, & so on). It’s now been one week since my 6 months in this new position. I’d like to reach out to my boss and set up a meeting to review my work & discuss a raise. Should I wait a bit longer or should I set this up now?
