Hi! I'm an undergrad student at UC Berkeley. I recently got invited to do a SuperDay for Point72 for the trade support internship role for summer 2024. I'm lost on what to expect as I'm not too well-versed in the technical aspects of trading/finance. What should I expect and what technical aspects should I prepare?

I interviewed at Google and cleared all onsite interviews back in July. Then came the hiring freeze and my role was de-prioritized. Now I'm being called for another position which I applied through the same recruiter before for the same group but different role. My question is will Google reuse the positive feedback and will it help/add value to this new position?

Is google still hiring? I see some transitions from D to Google but wonder whether I should apply or sit tight?

Can someone tell how to prepare for interviews?
What type of questions will be ask regarding projects?
Please share your experience.

How many days does TCS takes for TR round results

Had my virtual on-site for an S&O L3 role 3.5 weeks ago (NYC, 5 YOE). I haven’t heard back on a decision yet, and was wondering how long it typically takes? I also know that I was one of the very first candidates to interview for this specific role, and there are atleast 2 more people scheduled for onsites. Does the recruiter typically wait for all candidates to finish their onsites before communicating a decision? Or if I haven’t heard back yet, it’s probably a reject?

Any recommendations for recruiters who are active in the region?

I had a zoom interview with three partners last Thursday. I thought it went super well, but haven't heard anything yet. Should I follow up with the in-firm recruiter, if so, when? This is for a position in a highly ranked but regional (mountain state) firm. Thanks!

Let’s say you were interviewing for a global client lead role - at the holding co level - for one of WPP, Omnicom or IPG.

What questions would you ask in the interview phase?

Just got out of one of my final round interviews. It’s been over 8 weeks of prep. Got a little nervous and may have messed up on the case, PEI went okay. Have the other later this week. I’ve been depressed for years now and this past week I lost a dog I’ve had for 15 years; he was one of the only bright spots in my life and I’ve just found it so hard to focus or motivate myself on anything after this. I genuinely feel like I’m at rock bottom, Idk if I’m crazy to feel that way bc of a dog but I used to be able to control this and put up a front but now my depression and anxiety are starting to leak into my work conversations completely unintentionally, I wish this would stop :(

Has anyone tried to enforce a European non-compete/non-solicit (both foreign choice of law and venue) in the US? The employee moved with the company to the US 7 years ago and was never provided with an updated agreement. Assume for the sake of argument that the agreement is enforceable in the country of origin.

What level and service line were you at the big 4, and what percent salary increase did you get once you left? I’m a S1>S2, and the offers I’m seeing are around 10%-15% higher, which feels a little low. But maybe I’m being unrealistic.
