Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.

Just pay attention, the only rioters and people burning buildings or killing people were those on the extreme left, Antifa, folks hijacking BLM and the like. Republicans don’t do that. He’s fighting his legal battles like he’s entitled to do, like Gore did and Everyone else. It’ll play out and the country will move on.
Reduce your news feed and especially stop watching CNN. It’s a fear fest.
Funny how right-wingers didn't even know Antifascism was a thing until they elected an actual fascist and started tripling down on fascist rhetoric. Then guess who becomes public enemy #1!!
Honest question: how is this situation, as it currently stands with no rioting/shots fired/(insert other escalation) materially different than Hillary supporters claiming Trump was not their President after 2016? At the moment he is demanding recounts and saying some abhorrent things that go against the foundation of our great democratic republic, but at the moment that is all he is doing. Seems a far cry from any legitimate fears of a civil war. Maybe its time to relax a little? As far as I can tell (i subscribe to the previous response of limiting news intake) we haven’t seen some sort of escalation from Trump supporters so just think this is a bit alarmist.
Hillary conceded, Obama’s administration recognized the election, had trump to the White House, the GSA started the transition process, Obama didn’t fire everyone at the pentagon and install loyalists, so... yeah other than that 🙄
First thought: No words of wisdom.
Second thought: I hope the subset of Trump voters who “don’t accept” Biden’s win is relatively small. I know we have some Trump voters here on FB, what do you all think? Did Biden steal the election?
No he didn’t steal it. There are probably some things that went on (individuals removing trump ballots, etc.) that should be evaluated for election and voter sanctity more so than anything else, but I think Biden won because Trump just couldn’t get out of his own way. Particularly with his covid-hoax rhetoric. I saw the freezer trucks full of bodies in NYC, he lost many people over this past year through his response and jackassery with respect to Covid.

Wow I’m sorry but your privilege is showing. This is hardly an existential crises grow up, stop trying to be a victim and go about your business.
Was waiting for this reply!
My only words of wisdom are to reduce your news intake and turn off Twitter etc. notifications. You need to be in control of when you are faced with these concepts- meaning that you should be consciously choosing moments of limited intake and moments of pause. With Covid cases the way they are right now, we should probably all be sitting at home anyway.
This. It is scary right now with all the uncertainty, but there's really nothing you or I can do. Just try to dwell on it less.
I think he will start something crazy for sure. Definitely worried about that. And how his supporters will continue to act too. He will have to be dragged out of the White House.
That’s a narrative that has been promoted by left wing media but there is absolutely no evidence of it being the plan. Even if it is, it won’t work, trust the system.
I think the blue states/regions need to seriously discuss secession or some sort of break from the 70+mm people yearning for fascism. This marriage isn't working. We just want different things... AND THAT'S OK.
What are we staying together for? The kids?
I hear you but the trend is pretty clear now. I think it’s now one election cycle away.

I’ve significantly reduced my news intake, which helps. I’ve muted most people on social media who post politically (even if I agree with them), and I limit the other content I consume. It doesn’t take all of the worry away, but it helps. If things don’t settle down I will probably entirely eliminate news and social media consumption for a few weeks.
Relax.....take a deep breath.
It’s time to limit your media intake. Can’t put into words how much happier I am. Let things play out how they’re supposed to. He’s entitled to demand recounts and follow the process just like in the 2000 election and the Russia investigation in 2016. Folks don’t let him do a thing, jeez. Also, the last vid I saw before cutting out social media was a ballot worker ripping up a mail in vote in favor of Trump, so there’s that...
Careful...you might be extra parched when this is all over..
Wow I thought you'd receive more helpful advice. Limit social media and news as much as possible. I could dooms scroll all day. If you are concerned that "tuning out" is a complicit act, then maybe consider joining a volunteer group or legal organization (National Lawyers Guild does a lot of great work in monitoring proper protests, pro Bono legal representation and activism). You're likely stressed because you feel helpless. As attorneys, we have the skills and knowledge to make the changes we want from our society.
Many of the attorneys particularly the associates on this link failed critical thinking. OP asked a question and many people went to their partisan thinking and name calling. Their will not be a civil war, nor will President Trump take this country down. While we may all have an opinion about his behavior, whether positive or negative, this Country bends, but does not break. Many people are wishing for its demise, but whether it was by an intentional design or an accident, the economic, social and legal construct does not allow for another civil war. In short, this is a big law post and too many of our clients will not allow a civil war or a disruption in our economic model. We have a professional Military that does not engage in glory worship of one individual. We have had several people who have served in the military become President, but since Eisenhower, we have not had a former General as President. We do not have a uniform police system, even though they have similar characteristics. Each city and small town have their own police system, they do not report to one person. The system has faults, but we are not near a coup or a civil war.
Thanks! Means the world!
(1) Take a deep breath, relax your shoulders, unfrown your eyebrows.
(2) Are you exercising regularly? Consider going for 20-minute walk every day then build from there.
(3) Are you sleeping? Consider getting at least 8 hours for 3 days straight. That can do wonders to a person (especially if you start exercising).
(4) Are you reading the news/social media before going to bed? Consider reading a book instead and silencing your phone after 9 pm.
Vegetable soup, exercise, and a good night sleep are always good advice.
The institutions in this country are strong. We have survived some pretty difficult challenges in the past and we will survive this one as well. Cheer up!
