The job market is really rough right now. I would suggest networking and trying to gather offers. You can try posting in the job referral and job openings bowls and see what you can find there.

Transitions after a PhD can take time. Skills from neuroscience can transfer into biotech, data analysis, medical writing, or regulatory roles. Networking within those adjacent fields can often open more doors than applying broadly.
Someone told me that in data analysis I need to have a portfolio. Do you know if it matters?

I've been applying for Clinical trials roles (MSL, CTA), I'm looking for something more focused on data analysis. I have a lot of experience analyzing electrophysiological - single neuron and LFP - and behavioral data.
Recently I applied for a Pharmacy analyst (remote Healthcare US). Honestly I got to the point that anything is ok. Literally ANYTHING.
But I was hoping to earn at least $1100 USD monthly (the amount of my scholarship).
