What happens to H4EAD if you decide to transfer your h1b and i140?

Does anyone know how much does it cost to a company who is doing H1B transfer for a candidate? Also, how much do they have to pay for the Green Card process?

I had L1B visa valid till Sep'22, but I came back to India last year and subsequently seperated from my employer. Now I'm applying for a B2 visa and the earliest available appoinment is in Jan'24! I have booked it but wanted to check with this group if there are any chances that it could happen sooner. ( I don't qualify for the emergency option)

@ those who have gotten their H1 stamped - Can we use the auto generated employment verification letter from ToD for H1B stamping Interview? Or do we have to get a separate letter signed by a Manager?

Approved i140 on H1B as software consultant -> change to F1 to pursue MBA -> transition to H1B post-graduation but work in a different stream say investment banking. In this case would one be able to maintain the i140 & change occupation to a different stream? Has anyone does this?

I have offers from Amex and GS with similar Fixed component but the joining date of GS is two months after my last day in the current organization whereas Amex joining date is immediate. Should I wait for GS date or go ahead with Amex?

My visa expiry is June 2023 , whereas my Appointment to consulate is July 2022. I am going to renew my visa now but for my appointment I had given my current passport number and for appointment I need to carry the renewed passport(Which will have new Passport Number) , please help if this will be an issue?? Will I be asked to book a new appointment with renewed Visa and passport number ?? anyone faced similar situation??

I have opted to pay a VISA services firm for marketing my resume and apply for me. Was this a good option ?
