Hi 🐠, It's been 2.5 years since l joined Deloitte and I want to move to a new job soon. I haven't started applying yet but will. I have a question. The green card process deadline is tomorrow and Im not sure if should initiate that or not. My H1B started last October so I still have time but I don't want to be stuck here for the entire duration of green card process. So my question is, after starting the process when can I move to a different firm? Will documentation resume in new firm?

I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

How are you guys handling your mental health with job rejections or not getting interviews? I’m trying to stay optimistic but it’s soul crushing to see people you know get better jobs when you have been on the job hunt for awhile. I understand not comparing yourself to others but it’s hard when you realize you’re at the bottom of the totem pole and everyone else around you is progressing.

I have 3 years of Experience working as a fullstack developer using .NET Core, Angular, React, and Postgres.

I have also done certifications in Machine learning using Python and Tensorflow, but I am unable to land an interview with Microsoft, even if my profile matches the job description.

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.
