Any book recommendations for learning about investing smart in your 20s?

I make $101K base salary as a Consultant/Specialist at Accenture Federal in Washington, DC. My husband is a teacher making $55K. We’re getting by with our mortgage and regular student loan payments, but it’s not enough to do much else. We also want to start a family in a few years. What move could I make to hit $150K base? So many of you are making unbelievable amounts… I don’t know how to keep up.

At what point does it not make sense to buy/ build a bigger home? My husband dislikes our house immensely (was his with former wife) and wants to move. I realize there isn’t a “right” answer but I’m interested in people’s experiences here.

Anyone know how taxes work when you sell for a gain? Do Coinbase and other sites prepare a 1099 or are we on our own to "self report" our gains to Uncle Sam?
