Agree bro, but responsibility is also there for family.
Deprnds on which car are you planning to buy with this salary.
Tata Nexon - Sure
XUV 700 - No
a piece of advice though : never spend too much on a depreciating asset.
Q: Do you need a car? Family size > 2?
Q: Do you have enough finances to manage the EMI, maintenance and Fuel expenses?
I think cars are safer overall than a two wheeler. I would say go for it, if you can manage the expenses.

Listen to me
I am in the same boat, earning some 7k less than you, and thinking about the exact same thing.
After tons of thoughts, I have come to realise that I can easily buy a second hand car and enjoy the same luxuries. Always remember, a new car looses its value by 30 percent as soon as you drive it off the showroom. So it is a heavily depreceating asset. Go for a 2nd hand car, you can easily buy it within 2lacs.
You can enjoy the luxury of a car, while saving money long and short term. Someone has also posted a video above, you can check it out to see how costly it gets over time to buy a new car.
Take a sensible decision, go for a second hand car, and enjoy your life!

Buy 2nd hand if you badly need one. The price difference between brand new and used car of the same make/model is too high. Use that difference amount to invest in shares.
Well I bought first car in my extended family when earning 38k per month, so yeah salary is not the deciding factor, check your priorities

You can buy if you have sufficient money in hand.
Car is not an INVESTMENT - it depreciates rapidly with time. So the comparison doesn’t make sense. Buy only if you think it has good utility value for you.

First thing ask yourself why you need a car? Is it just to social status or you really one for travel. Car buying is not an investment so don't but it if it is not required.

Look, there are a few things one needs to consider.
Do you need a car or your parents need it?
You could be needing it because of status, because your friends have it or may be you don’t like travelling via a two wheeler or public transport
Your parents might be needing it because they don’t want public transport wala hassle and want some sort of convenience. One more reason could be “marriage”. Car, house, land…you got my point, right?
Car is not an investment. Only buy that if you or your parents NEED it and not just WANT it. It depreciates over time. 🙂
Personal opinion iff your parents are okay, don’t need a car or may be you don’t need a car so bad. You can start investing since you must be getting 67-75k per month. You can invest a good chunk of money and if required, buy a car in future.
Absolutely. We need to be clear on NEED and WANT
Hi I'm Working with Awign Project to Fresh to home and I need some delivery boys and I'm have an manpower .

Car is a liability, period. But if you really need it based on the reasons that make sense to you, get one. Now the question arises of what should be your budget, hope this video helps -

If you don't have any responsibility then you should. Because you should keep yourself happy. You are earning for yourself.
If there is absolute need, then buy. Else don't do.
Do you *want* a car or do you *need* car ? 😀 Read carefully !
Car is big white elephant, you hardly take outisde during weekends, for office you will take office bus...as we don't want to drive in that huge traffic bumper to bumper
If you are traveling to your native every weekend than it's fine...if you have baby & wife ..
Buddy. I would say do buy. But go for a <5lk one. If your company offers lease do go for it with all adjustments in place. If not, get a loan for least possible term. But do go for a loan if u don’t have a credit history. Try going for an EV if you have charging facility at known points. If not next best option is to go for a company fitted CNG one. Whatever people say and suggest, if you have a small family, with 1-2 kids, having a car is necessity if you live in metros
Buy second hand car.. u can manage financial life.
