Howdy…I need a sanity check! As part of my previous role, I reported security non-compliance and gross security misrepresentations. For my valiant efforts I was laid off (despite being a protected whistleblower) and my reports were buried. Everything I did was in line with my responsibilities. I was extremely concerned that systems housing personal credit data on all US consumers were not adequately protected. I essentially risked my job to protect data and I’m not sure if it mattered.

Just a shout-out here to Shilling Canning Company in Navy Yard. We had a really nice anniversary dinner there, food was great, service was great, and not crazy expensive. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a nice spot that isn't super buzzy or crowded.

28M. First time solo travel 3 week trip to Spain coming up. Flying Royal Air Maroc from US. They’re allowing 2 check in bags and 1 carry on. However, I want to travel light and am trying to avoid check in bags completely. I currently have the CSP card (have for just over a year). I’m looking to get another CC to get a signup bonus but not sure which one to get. Does a non-tech PMO candidate can also achieve 30-50 LPA in just 5-6 years of experience as you technical people are achieving.

Please also suggest, should I continue in this PMO and go for PMP, Prince2 then try or just learn some technical things and then can only expect this much package?

I am a Strategic Sourcing Manager with 7 YOE in both direct and indirect spend across various industries (Life sciences, IT and Insurance) I have been offered a role with Fidelity for 13 lpa + 1.5 variable. Offer seems better than the national average for similar roles but I feel I would be underpaid based on the current market, my skills and value I will be bringing to the table.
