Hi Wiproites, I joined Wipro in mid-Dec and received my payslip for Dec month. But I couldn't find Wipro Benefits Plan component in the payslip (However, it's present in my offer letter & salary stack). Also, I checked my IT projection and even there I couldn't find WBP as a component under 'earnings'. I am sure I am missing something here. Could any of you please help me understand it?

Is it better for M7 MBA admissions if leave Deloitte Consulting to work at a healthcare startup for a year or am I better off staying at Deloitte? Guessing the former but curious if anyone has any perspective

I, a childless woman who does not plan to have kids, am jealous of the parental leave parents get to take from work from choosing to have a child (a big life event). I 100% understand that they are working in a different way by taking care of the baby and being deliriously worn out in the process, but it makes me sort of jealous that unless I have a kid there is no life event that I can take ~3 months away from work to focus on and enjoy, plus have my hours prorated and a job to come back to.

I am taking another sick day this coming Monday. It's necessary for both my physical and mental health, which are severely compromised due to the stress of this insane school year (and the last one, and the spring before that -- I think this is cumulative with COVID, the political situation, etc.). Help me understand this. From a salary of 120k, I’m getting a total tax deduction of 27%. That’s $32,400 going to the government. 32 thousand?!?!?! Do I ever get any of it back? Why so much? It technically reduces my income to $87k. Can someone please explain. I’m appalled.

I have resigned from TCS. Currently in negotiations with Salary revision... (They claim it's on hold due to this ongoing appraisal fiascos)... I am a long term tcser with 14 YOE.... And having good relationship with management.... But my pay is abysmally low.. (15 LPA - Take home is somewhere ~80k).... I have asked for 100% hike... I know they will low ball me and negotiate.... However, except for onsite and compensation revision... What other benefits we can negotiate ?

How will this app generate money?

When I landed at the Newark airport and proceeded to Boston in 2005 I had just landed in this country with $ 325 in my pocket and was on a student visa. I racked up $ 100,000 in student loans over the next few years. Paid it all off by 2010 and today our net worth is $ 2.2 million projected to close at $ 6 million by the time I retire. Work hard. Stay humble. You can do anything in this country with capitalism and free enterprise.

My dads business did 15m In ebitda in fy20 and he got an offer from PE for 10x ebitda and he’s taking it. Since offer came they’ve grown like 40% and he’s forecasting over 20m ebitda for 21. I think he should go back to market. He says no it’s a good offer mostly cash and he rolls forward to keep 15% of company. He doesn’t need money as this isn’t his first sale. Seems crazy to leave a lot of money on the table but maybe im thinking about it wrong. What do you all think? He owns 60% of company.
