Thank you. Have a great day.
Almost all my real world "good teaching practices" are from emulation other good teachers I had when I was a student, practicing and learning to teach as a teaching assistant, and now talking to other faculty. PD classes and seminars have been largely a waste of time, except as padding continuing education credit. Also, taking more courses in my content area has been helpful...as I can stay current with material, experience it as a student, but with my eye out on instructional design and talking to the instructor about how I could incorporate material or methods into my class.
Check out edX or similar online outfits if you want to take online classes.
