Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?

LOB and team dependent. Expectation is 40 hours a week but some work a little less of a little more depending on workload for the week. I think it averages out.
Work hours themselves is a convo you might want to have with your direct manager.
Thank you! Since I have a little one, I was wondering if I need to expect long hours like consulting companies.
That question's hard to answer because every team is a little bit different, but I came from consulting in a Big Four, where I used to work all night at JPMC. I'm usually out by 5:00. I come in around 8:30. There's probably two times I've gone past 5:00. With that being said there are people there when I leave and there are people there when I arrive so who knows what the real hours for everyone are.
Thanks, that makes sense. Appreciate it
