How are bonuses/payouts looking this year at the big carriers? Meeting/exceeding/beating expectations? Even in general I think we should be compensated and rewarded

I’m always surprised that record earnings, dividends, and reserves don’t translate into a larger bonus pool.

like

If we get a bonus it’s like 2000 in March and you have to basically be in the top 10% to qualify

Looking good! And being told that too so fingers crossed

Our bonuses aren't paid until March. Standard is like 6.5%, but we never have any clue until we're told. That's why you better put yourself on a silver platter come performance review time to push the needle toward a higher amount. This is also when merit talks happen as well.

Hi Folks can anyone tell me about job security in virtusa

Just got a freelance gig for $1250 for 2 shoot days, but they’re asking for hourly rate for prep days. Not sure what rate to give them & if I should base it on a 10 or 12 hr hourly rate. It’s LA based & content/digital production. I’m not a fan of hourly rates, but I don’t want to lose the gig or end up agreeing to less days than I actually end up working..

Many companies have these strict policies about what you can and cannot post on social media, which is fine and all, but the second you try to address a concern or highlight something in your workplace that could be improved, they will come down on you like the hammer of Thor.

Additional Posts in Insurance

I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position. I let her know out the gate that I really wasn’t looking to change jobs, but she just kept wanting to continuing the conversation. I didn’t have 2 interviews with the hiring coming and they know that I am not really looking to make a switch. They are now working on an offer letter and I know they’re going to offer me more money. I’m having my annual review this week. Any advice on how to handle a) job offer b) review?
