Just got a freelance gig for $1250 for 2 shoot days, but they’re asking for hourly rate for prep days. Not sure what rate to give them & if I should base it on a 10 or 12 hr hourly rate. Currently I make a base of $63k/yr and $1k/mo in bonuses pre-tax. I manage a performance for a team of licensed insurance agents (service-based role in a direct business environment), maintain our business relationships, and support adhoc training needs. Is there anyone else in this type of role who is able to share how this compares to similar positions and your general location?

I have worked my way up in Insurance for 4 years but the 1st year being an intern/front desk/admin and was promoted twice and now an account associate helping my AMs/AEs manage our Producers' books of business. I was recently approached by a big brokerage for a Client Manager position. Hello, I am a junior business administrator working in advisory operations. I have been with the company for 6 months, and was employed along with 2 other colleagues. I have picked the job up really fast and am even doing some “extra curricula’s” I really love my job. However I have recently found out I am being paid the same as an apprentice on my team, I usually do at 3 x the work he does whilst also doing my Cert CII. It has really disheartened me and I feel I should be earning more money
