Welcome! Been here a year and love it.
Welcome! I’ll be your friend 🙋🏾♂️
Would you mind sharing where are you moved from? There are some great places around many listed above, if you are into bicycling San Antonio has the best bicycle trails all over the city and they are working to connect them all. look up San Antonio trails and you should be able to find them. You probably have a trail head near you.
I cannot answer for the tennis but there are groups on FB.
The trails also have walkers and runners along with cyclists.
Lifetime (both 281 and Rim locations) have active indoor cycling groups and running groups as well. So does every iRun location. Their group fitness classes are also well attended by a variety of ages and genders. I work remotely as well and have met lots of friends there.
Depends on what type of people you want to meet. The Pearl, The Rim, and the Riverwalk are all general areas that have fun places to be. Lots of bars and restaurants.
I’ve made some friends through SAYP, (San Antonio Young Professionals) maybe hit up the SA alumni chapter for your university?
Their Facebook and instagram is up to date
In general people meet through dating apps/mutual friends/school/work. Pretty standard stuff
