How are Coastal Cloud and Perficient’s cultures? Work/life balance, pay increases, etc? I have an offer to join Coastal as a Solution Architect (185k base, 10% bonus) and Perficient as a Sr Solution Architect (200k base, 10% bonus).

Strategy Analyst at a corporate -> IT DD/ODD at EYP -> Strategy Consulting at the same firm

Detour or shortcut, my goal is to be in strategy consulting. Is it better to just wait for a couple more years and then go directly into strategy consulting? Are IT DD and ODD experience viewed favourably by strategy consultants?

I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs. They are resistant because they just want the work to be done and don’t “want to keep spending money on internal jobs”.
