This is why I secretly avoid 1:1s with my manager!

What's a guilty pleasure you indulge in at work?
My company, Pegasystems, is agressively hiring for Senior Solutions Consultant (presales) positions nationwide. If you are interested in working for an amazing company with market leading products and a great culture, please message me. Happy to discuss further. Assuming you are reasonably qualified, I can provide a referral as well.
When is a 3 page resume acceptable?

I actually love 1:1 with my manager. He suggests stuff to read or learn more about based on my career goals, and I can share stuff that is more related to the business part and he then reports back in whatever had happened on that front of anything. Works for me, don't feel micromanaged. Would hate then if that was the case 😳
That is definitely not the case for me. Mine tries to get into the nitty-gritty of what I am doing day-to-day and what I need to prioritize etc, as if he's my admin. It's weird and I guess not normal...
I promise that's not what it's all about, really! I try to focus on the bigger picture. If you were hired to do a job, I have to assume that you are fully capable and can do it without my being there every step of the way.
Luckily I don't feel like this with my current manager, but I have in the past! It's definitely not a great place to be. My way of dealing with it was certainly not productive so I can't offer advice but I'm sending you good vibes.
Thanks, I appreciate the good vibes.
