How are the hikes and variable this year ?

I used to be an early riser but now I can hardly get myself out of bed before 9 am. What are some of the tips to wake up early? I have tried to go to bed early but that doesn’t work either.

Stupid question but I gotta ask. I’ve got like 30k sitting in a checking account, I feel like I should push it into VTI and forget about it, but for some reason I feel like a downturn is on the horizon and I don’t want to lose a chunk of it.
