Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable

This industry is so niche and generally attracts misfits. Not saying it’s impossible to get out, but it’s already the last chance saloon of the employment world.
In terms of getting out of the industry, do you have any career paths you’re interested in?
I think a-lot do research, education and getting certifications is an easy way to get out of advertising and into another industry.
What sort of certifications do you mean? To be honest, I’m not really sure what I’d like to do instead…maybe “client side” but I’m not sure that’s really a thing for creatives at my level.
I presume you hate your agency and projects? Have you thought about re-doing your portfolio with your dream spec work and doing placements again at top agencies? Rob Reilly, the current global CCO of WPP, was a CD at a big NY agency making crap work. So he quit and dropped back down to CW at Crispin Porter and moved to Boulder, Colorado. He had fun and made the work that made him.
If not, Seek out a career coach via LinkedIn. They will probably cost you £2K-£5K for 6 months of mentoring to mentor you through a career pivot. If you don’t have that, then save up.
I presume your sub 30 years old. If you are, then definitely relax a bit. So many people don’t find their feet until 35+. You will likely work until you’re 60+ and have multiple careers. If you’re over 30 and have no dependents or mortgage, you still have as much freedom.
The easiest pivot you could make is abandon agency-side and go in-house to a brand, then work your ass off out-of-hours to get more credentials beyond creative (Mark Ritson MBA), network like crazy internally and find an exec to sponsor a transition into a different department. Such as sales. Ops. Or anything else that interests you.
If you want to do something COMPLETELY different, then go back to school, cut living expenses and sacrifice.
The easiest corporate job to get is sales or recruitment. Which could make you $$$ fairly fast but you’re on a hamster wheel for life.
Most creatives have more mobility at CD level. You could grind it out till then. Then pivot.
Your life and your happiness is your responsibility.
Sorry, i know you’re only trying to be helpful and practical but just read this back again and it feels so out of touch with reality.
Here’s a Creative role, client side that looks like it could be cool.
Note: It has nothing to do with me, so please apply through the link if interested.
