I'm a new employee, and my manager told me that I'm no good at my job. How am I supposed to learn if I'm not allowed to ask questions?

You have the obligation to ask for a proper training, where you can clarify all the doubts you have, otherwise it is very difficult for you to be good at your job.

If your manager has already told you that you're no good at your job, then it may be difficult to learn anything from them. It's important to be able to ask questions in order to understand what you need to do better.

If you feel like you can't ask your manager directly, try looking for a mentor or another coworker who can help guide you. Someone has to do it, because learning all the ropes by yourself in a new company is next to impossible. I hope you're able to get help eventually!

Your manager is just trying to help you improve. There's no need to be discouraged – ask your manager for clarification on what you need to do differently, and take their feedback to heart. With a little effort, you'll be able to improve and become a valuable member of the team.

Your manager is a bit of a prick, that's all I got for you

If that's how you're getting treated I wouldn't expect to learn anything there, at least from your manager. Just do you best till you can get somewhere better

Just do your best to learn from your coworkers, your manager is likely not a good leader if this is how they talk to their employees. Good luck out there!

Learn from your coworkers, that kind of attitude is an early sign of a poor manager but I'm sure there's at least one person there who will help you out

Hey mates, I have an overall experience of 14 years with 6lakh CTC. Started my career in BPO though I am from computer science background and then proved myself for the IT movement within the same company before 8 years (6 years in BPO and 8 years in IT). Nothing is changed financially but in a better role. Have got certified in GCP. I stayed here for too long because I was looking for an onshore opportunity but now luck is not favouring me in H1B lottery. Looking for your valuable suggestions!

Hello fellow SAP Consultants!
I am SAP HCM consultant having 4.10 years of experience. I feel that this module doesn’t have any growth. My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. Should I be worried about my skillset? Any insights would highly be appreciated. I feel stuck.

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. Does anyone have experience or advice?
