How do we feel about accepting a part time, multi month freelance gig when you know you’re going on vacation a week after it starts and would have to provide a coverage plan right away? I need whatever i can get at this point. Plus they never actually have work for you on day one, or even week one.

Almost 18 weeks pregnant with no end in sight for fatigue and nausea. This week, my brain has added the stress of who will watch my toddler while I go into labor. Husband I have no family nearby and don’t want them to fly out and come stay with us either. What’s everyone else in similar situations doing?

Y’all I just need to vent real quick as my husband is gone for the week several time zones away and I’m alone. This late second trimester heartburn is unreal! I’ve never really had heartburn before but holy shit! I find myself pacing and feeling sick to my stomach because of it, unable to focus on anything else, and then I’m drained because all my energy is spent focusing on just this pain. I have been researching into this these days and there is literature that shares how lending worked in pre-Islamic Arabia. When the time to pay back a loan came, the lender would ask "would you pay or will you increase?" And that increase was usually doubling the loan. Subsequently ever year the loan wasn't paid it was doubled from the previous year.
