How do you decide when it’s time to bring in outside leadership? We’ve hit a plateau I think we’re out of ideas and too close to see the problem. It’s uncomfortable realizing experience can become a blind spot.

I think it’s fair to also say, the organization would have to realize it needs new leadership. If they’re tied inextricably to the old way of doing things, then the new leadership is not going to be effective.

I realize this is pretty obvious. My brain is not working well this morning.

Recently received an offer from Ogletree to do only class action work. It'll be a big change for me, I'll be starting as a fourth year. Double my current salary, etc.

What will this be like? It's more of a niche, but lucrative, part of their practice, right? Will I really get good WLB like they claim? I have a nice 40 hour a week job right now, no billables.

Does anyone else have issues knowing when to stop working or managing their work-life balance? I get emails and requests at all hours and I always respond but I'm wondering if it is time to set up some boundaries and start ignoring requests after a certain point at night and on the weekends?
